Why we love it
The K-Café SMART is the Keurig for milk drinks. Its frother works hot or cold at three speeds, so a latte, a cappuccino or cold foam over iced coffee comes from the same counter spot, and it brews 2 and 4oz coffee shots for the base as well as 6 to 12oz cups. Five strength and six temperature settings cover the rest. It connects to WiFi: the app schedules brews and saves favorites, and BrewID recognizes the pod you put in and suggests settings for it. The shot is concentrated coffee from a K-Cup, not espresso, so for a true espresso base look at an espresso or Nespresso machine.
